Mersini by Etereo Design

On the picturesque island of Schinoussa in Greece, the Mersini bar/restaurant is a harmonious blend of Greek tradition and Italian glamor. Designed by Etereo Design, this venue not only offers a gastronomic experience, but also a visual and sensory journey, accentuated by its stunning sea views.

Organic design elements

Upon entering Mersini, guests are immediately captivated by the bar area, characterized by large wooden umbrellas with organic shapes. These umbrellas, which vary in size, provide a unique cover for the entire outdoor space. The bar counter itself also has an organic shape, serving as the central axis dividing the bar area from the restaurant. The choice of design ensures that natural elements, such as tree leaves and stars, are prominently visible, since this space is mainly used at night.

Greek style with Italian glamour

The Greek style is evident throughout the space, with an added touch of Italian glamour in the choice of colors and materials. The spacious, rounded white plaster benches, adorned with personalized cushions, invite guests to sit down and enjoy their meal. The tables, made of various shades of green and white marble, harmonize perfectly with the lush vegetation that surrounds each table, effectively defining its boundaries.

VIP Area and Boutiques

In the center of the space, a VIP area offers an exclusive dining experience with two large tables directly connected to the exhibition kitchen. This configuration not only provides a special experience for distinguished guests, but also emphasizes the integration of the gastronomic and culinary spaces.

Connecting the bar and restaurant are three boutiques offering clothing for men and women. In addition, a gastronomic store showcases the island’s specialties, giving guests the opportunity to take home a piece of Schinoussa’s culinary offerings.
