Art & Ski-in Hotel Hinterhag by Evi Fersterer
This amazing wooden ski-in hotel is situated in Salzburg, Austria.
Description
The Hotel Hinterhag captivates with its architecture already from afar: glass, reused wood and logs. This style continues as a common theme through the hotel’s interior – artwork by Evi Fersterer and national as well as international artists create a sophisticated, unique atmosphere. Evi Fersterer’s Mirror Tree can be found right away in the lobby. The loungers beneath the tree invite to pause and to rest.
The day is started with a substantial breakfast buffet and a view across the Glemm Valley. Stunning skiing pistes with powder snow, groomed cross-country ski trails or toboggan rides offer diverse outdoor fun. The Hinterhag-Alm at the Turmlift facility is only a turn away, invites to organic delicacies at lunchtime and offers a beautiful sun terrace. From 4 pm, you can enjoy the unique Après-Ski atmosphere and the famous “Herzerltanz – Dance of the Hearts” performed by Evi Fersterer there.
Drive-in-hotel? Yes, this is possible here – ski directly from the piste into the quietly located hotel. The lobby boy meets you and looks after you and your skis. Step directly into the lobby and relax on the sledge beds whilst enjoying a warming mulled wine. The wellness area and the sauna also guarantee relaxation after an eventful day of skiing and provide a stunning view across Saalbach. Our indulgence half-board invites you to the “Herzbuam“ restaurant for dinner. There is a salad buffet and you choose your own 3-course à la carte menu whilst watching the chef preparing the dishes at the front-cooking station. Or experience Italian flair at “Seppi’s“. True to the motto “Dahoam schmeckt’s am besten – Homemade meals are the best”, traditional Austrian cuisine is refined with Italian influences here. High-quality ingredients, selected wines and fruit brandies – simply a divine treat.
