About House in Istanbul
Serenity Meets Modernity at Acarkent MB House
Acarkent MB House in Beykoz, crafted by Studio EG Architecture, emerges as a tranquil retreat spanning 850 square meters (about 9,149 square feet). This residence champions simplicity, minimalism, and natural elements. Across four floors, it features a garden, entrance, guest rooms, and bedrooms.
A Haven for Relaxation
MB House offers serene spaces like a pool, orchard, sun terrace, hobby and cinema rooms, sauna, spa, hot tub, and garden shower. Designed to soothe the day’s stress, these areas combine calm and functionality. The house also boasts a smart home system, allowing personalized control over heating, lighting, air conditioning, and audio.
Technical spaces, including laundry, cleaning and boiler rooms, support the seamless operation of the house. The smart system and automation rooms, along with a garage and storage areas, ensure every need is met efficiently.
Architectural Harmony with Nature
The design maximizes daylight, especially in the double-height gallery connecting the living areas. This feature brings the garden’s green hues into the home’s white interiors. Inside, a palette of black, white, gray, and wood dominates, with basalt andesite stone and white solid wood creating a peaceful ambiance. Natural stones in various finishes enhance the benches, facades, and handrails. The cellar, accessed via a sailor’s ladder, showcases an underground feel with natural stone and wood, adding to the home’s unique character.
