Located in the picturesque southern Bulgarian countryside, renowned for its sunny days and mineral water springs, the House stands as a testament to enduring architecture. This ambitious project spanned eight years, offering participants a journey of exploration through new spaces, cultures, and ideas, ultimately leading to self-discovery.
A Fluid Design Philosophy
The reconstruction phase presented unique challenges. Some new structural elements required complete demolition to align with the evolving concept. The vision was to craft a seamless, barrier-free space, akin to floating or flying. Here, light, color, and air merge into a harmonious whole, fostering a sense of unrestricted freedom.
Embracing Naturalism and Sustainability
The House’s design predominantly features natural materials, unprocessed surfaces, and soft textures, embodying a connection with nature. Recycling plays a key role in certain areas, underscoring the commitment to sustainability. This thoughtful blend achieves optimal light and sound comfort, making the House a serene, eco-friendly retreat.
