About Looper Suites
Unveiling the Looper Suites by Nomadic Resorts
Nomadic Resorts has introduced the Looper suites at Wild Coast Tented Lodge, an amazing eco-resort in Sri Lanka. Designed for the eco-friendly hotel world, this luxury pod fits perfectly into places like eco-resorts, wellness spots, and wild camps. First up, Wild Coast Tented Lodge, a special 36-tent safari camp near Yala National Park, decided to use them. And for the inside look? Bo Reudler Studio took charge of that.
Blending Comfort with Green Living
Thinking green, Nomadic Resorts dreamt up a fresh idea for hotels. Imagine the comfort of a luxury room but built for tough places. They aimed to use fewer materials, be kind to the earth, add modern tech, and make guests feel closer to nature. Making these pods elsewhere means they set up quickly on site. So, what’s the end product? A 42m2 (452 sq. ft) pod shaped like a cocoon. It’s built with strong steel and a tough cover. It has a 28m2 (301 sq. ft) living space and a 14m2 (150 sq. ft) bathroom. Standing on stilts, animals can move freely below. Big windows offer great views, and smaller side windows add charm. Each pod can be set up to match what the customer wants. And if needed, you can even move them.
At WCTL, the Loopers stretch from the woods to the sea. Each group looks like a leopard’s foot and faces a pool that animals love to visit. Plus, there are four villas by the beach with their own small pools. The inside design? It’s a mix of eco-friendly luxury, local style, and a touch of modern. Think adventure stories, airships, and old tents. Inside, there’s a big bed in the middle, cool furniture, and a copper tub with a view. Classic materials like copper and wood are paired with colorful local fabrics.
Adding to the Looper Collection
For WCTL, Nomadic Resorts also made the Urchin, a smaller tent pod. It’s great for families and can be paired with a Looper or stand alone. It keeps the same cool design, and the outside shower is a fun touch. Now, they’re making more Loopers for hotels all over the world.
