Modern architecture fuses with quality interior design to create the Mi Chalet’s unparalleled atmosphere in Alta Badia. Architect Karl Heinz Castlunger immediately recognized the potential of the hill overlooking the mountains. Indeed, the breathtaking view shaped his vision for the chalet. Consequently, he effortlessly sketched out the house.
Nature’s splendor influenced both the architect and owner. Together, they envisioned an eco-friendly “Clima House A.” This design offers unparalleled comfort and serenity.
Interior Inspirations
Antjesusann Castlunger, the famed interior decorator and Karl’s wife, found inspiration in a plush, white signature chair. Before the project’s completion, she became smitten with its design. Therefore, this chair’s aesthetic shaped the chalet’s interior. She embraced locally sourced wood, soothing colors, and understated elegance to define Mi Chalet’s ambiance.

Panoramic windows bathe the chalet in light. These windows, coupled with the chalet’s unique shape, create a timeless yet cozy feel, bridging tradition with modernity.
