About Piedra de Bosque
A Landmark at Nature’s Threshold
Nestled at the village’s edge and the forest’s entrance, a rocky house clings to a small hill’s base. This dwelling acts as a beacon, guiding travelers into a verdant, serene forest. Here, as poets often muse, nature’s silence and lush greens captivate wanderers.
Strategic Architectural Choices
Cleverly, the design exploits a legal provision. It allows a shared wall with the neighboring property. This grants the house a chance to shy away from the bustling north. Instead, it basks in nature’s southern embrace.
A Gentle Intrusion into Nature
Eagerly, the residence melds with the garden. A suspended wooden walkway, appearing to float on stakes, guides visitors amidst beeches, oaks, and the forest floor’s playful mice.
Harmony with the Environment
Nature’s rugged stone shapes the home’s recesses, fostering a symbiotic bond with its surroundings. The home’s design echoes the fissures and gaps scattered throughout this locale. Moreover, its entrance makes use of a fleeting cavern, sheltered beneath shifting rocks, waiting for the day they may slide once more.
