About Casa Baglioni

Casa Baglioni: A Symbol of Milanese Hospitality

Located in the elegant Brera district, Milan’s artistic heart, Casa Baglioni is a new jewel that symbolizes the city’s excellent hospitality. Nestled within a 1913 Art Nouveau building on the corner of Via dei Giardini and Via Fatebenefratelli, the spaces of Casa Baglioni draw inspiration from the art and design of 1960s Milan. A member of The Leading Hotels of the World, the property offers 30 bright and spacious rooms and suites spread over six floors, each elegantly furnished with custom-made furniture and Italian handcrafted items.

7 Room Types and 4 Top Suites

Guests can choose from 7 room types and 4 top suites, all celebrating the Milan of Giò Ponti and other great artists, architects and designers of the time. Superior, Deluxe (with and without balcony), Junior Suite, Deluxe and Terrace Suite, and a 2-bedroom Family Suite are available to ensure an authentic stay in the heart of one of the city’s most creative neighborhoods. The Milan and Leonardo Suites (67 sqm and 60 sqm respectively, on the 5th and 6th floors) overlook the Milan skyline, the Brera Presidential Suite (113 sqm interior and a 26 sqm private terrace) and the Montenapoleone Signature Suite (108 sqm on the 6th floor).

Italian Savoir-Faire

Several renowned Italian partners of Casa Baglioni help to tell the story of Italian savoir-faire. Rubelli has supplied the wallpapers and upholstered furniture, Panzeri the geometric lighting, Dedar the fabrics, Zucchetti Kos taps and fittings, and Borsalino the bathroom furniture. Plus, Borsalino also offers a “Made to Measure” experience, allowing guests to touch the fine materials, compose their own personalized hat, and have it delivered to their address.

Discovering Milan’s Hidden Wonders

Guests can explore Milan’s Renaissance treasures, Palazzo Brera, the Academy of Fine Arts, the Astronomical Observatory, the Botanical Gardens, the Braidense Library, Villa Necchi, and more. An itinerary of the places where Gio Ponti lived and worked is also available, allowing art lovers to admire the creativity of the famous architect and the history of Italian architecture and design. A tour of the Brera district’s art and flavors is also offered, with a special tasting of gastronomic products and visits to the city’s historic open-air markets.

Works of Art by Great Artists

In collaboration with the Stefano Cecchi Trust Collection – Art Fund, important works have been selected to embellish the hotel’s spaces. These masterpieces by great Italian and international artists, such as Enrico Castellani, Agostino Bonalumi, Carla Accardi, Hans Hartung and Christo, as well as objects from the “domestic chromes” collection by designer Gala Rotelli, can be admired.

Gourmet Cuisine by Chef Claudio Sadler

Catering at Casa Baglioni is entirely by Michelin Star Chef Claudio Sadler, who is bringing his gourmet restaurant from its historic location on Via Ascanio Sforza in Brera. Guests can delight in an evening gourmet menu that combines modernity, innovation and tradition, or sample the more casual and smart lunch proposals. The buffet and breakfast menu, as well as the food amenities at various times of the day, provide additional pampering to make guests feel truly “at home.”
