About J&J
Reviving History with Modern Touches
Project J&J, a home for a young couple and their two daughters, uniquely blends historical elements with contemporary design. The house, celebrating its past, creatively reinvents its original wooden structure, stone, and brick walls. This fusion creates a new aesthetic and functional narrative.
Harmonizing Spaces with Light and Shape
The design’s cornerstone lies in light and shapes, crafting visual harmony throughout. Curved ceilings and furniture encourage a fluid transition between spaces. Moreover, the use of color and materials like ceramic and wood creates a coherent language. Notably, a ceramic baseboard unites the spaces, complementing the floors and custom furniture.
Playful Interplay of Colors and Materials
Approaching finishes, colors, and shapes with a playful, game-like mindset adds uniqueness. The color scheme, inspired by the sun and nature, interacts with the house’s orientation. This strategy establishes a dialogue with light, resulting in a warm, natural ambiance.
