The House Under the Pines is a house designed by Konzola Arhitektura in 2024. The architectural complex consists of two structures integrated into the typology of a neighborhood predominantly composed of family homes with tourist rentals on the western coast of Istria, Croatia.
The design features a recognizable single-pitched roof and smooth façades with a horizontal strip of glazing, set within two functional units respecting the existing greenery of the site.
The 99 is a revitalized office located in Tustin, California, designed by FORMM in 2024. The project emphasizes an industrial aesthetic, integrating bespoke elements that celebrate the client’s brand. It features a larger building with open offices, collaboration zones, and pantry spaces, as well as a smaller building with a lobby for external visitors, highlighting double-height volumes and raw materials. The result combines functionality with playful elements, creating a unique work environment.
The two villas on Flesaasveien are situated in a residential neighborhood to the north of Oslo, Norway. Designed by Oslotre Arkitekter in 2021, the houses boast a refreshing yet modern aesthetic characterized by a combination of curves and straight lines. The villas feature an exterior clad in untreated heartwood pine and interiors constructed using Cross-Laminated Timber (CLT), creating a warm organic atmosphere. They are meticulously landscaped with native flora to support local biodiversity.
Casa Fluir, a house located in São Paulo, Brazil, designed by Sabella Arquitetura, showcases contemporary design with large glass panels. Prioritizing nature, it features a shared courtyard, a sauna, and an art studio. Natural lighting fills the spaces, complemented by pine brise-soleils. The 494 sq m (5,300 sq ft) residence integrates the landscape through a dark retaining wall and lush interior gardens. Seven suites and an infinity pool ensure comfort and harmony with the surroundings.

Designed by Two Arquitetura and completed in 2024, this elegant residence combines the sophistication of a luxury hotel with the comfort of a private home. Its open floor plan fosters interaction and togetherness, while high-end materials such as Moledo stone, Guatemalan green marble, and European oak enhance the sense of luxury and organic connection to the surrounding nature.
Perched high above the Gulf of Mexico in Longboat Key, FL, Waterclub reimagines a 1980s interior into an airy and serene space that celebrates the ocean’s deep blue and green hues. Designed in 2024 by Traction Architecture, the apartment features a reconfigured floor plan with sightlines and natural materials that enhance connections to the surrounding water, while finishes complement the shimmering tones of the landscape.
This compact but stylish apartment in Brasília, Brazil, features the work of local studio BLOCO Arquitetos, who focused creativity on light-filled decor utilising reclaimed wood, exposed concrete and modern accessories. The home measures 68 m² (732 sq ft), and the considerable redevelopment included the removal of many of the home’s interior walls and the refitting of the apartment’s entire layout.
