In Porto Alegre, Brazil, the Duque Apartment underwent a renovation by Renata Pinto Beck in 2022. The redesign focuses on incorporating colors and textures, transforming the apartment’s social area while emphasizing functionality for home office use. With a mix of vibrant kitchen walls, restored parquet flooring, and unique furnishings, the apartment showcases a fun yet elegant atmosphere.

Lansdowne Road is a house extension in the City of London, UK, designed by Mulroy Architects in 2020. The project increased the floor space by 25 percent in this family home. The design features a courtyard between a new rectangular extension and an original Victorian bay window. A frameless curved window creates more space, wrapping around the bay and focusing the new dining area. The first-floor addition includes a study and bathroom.

Chez D. is a three-bedroom apartment located in Bucharest, Romania, designed by Jooca Studio in 2021. The Studio Gamp! team combined two separate Civitavecchia apartments into this 160-square-metre dwelling, characterised by flowing wooden partitions. Designed in 2020, Casa Darsena features curved walls that echo the exterior lines of the 1990s building, creating a flexible layout and enhancing natural light. A key design element is a vertical oak screen that embraces the living area and transitions into a glazed, pivoting door leading to a home office, promoting interaction and connection throughout the space.
