The house reflects a blend of contexts coming together and is designed as an immersive experience for one to reflect upon and enjoy the spontaneity of the surrounding environment. The material design palette reflects the client’s appreciation for natural materials and narrative art pieces. With fixed elements of Indian origin and movable furniture sourced from all over the globe, the house is layered in an interesting manner with all the design elements. The house has several entertainment zones, including a family cum theatre space planned at the Terrace level.

Introducing Anna Maria Sokolowska Interior Design’s latest project, “The Architect’s Private House“. Located in Rumia, Poland, this conversion and extension of a farm building from 1940 is an oasis of peace and tranquility, surrounded by greenery and old fruit trees.
Anna Maria designed the interiors to be simple, minimalist and yet give a sense of warmth and a calming feeling. Natural wood repainted white and green colour accents make the property more appealing. The interior features a reinforced concrete ceiling, natural oak wood on the floor, open prefabricated truss in the upstairs bedrooms, and a combination of white, grey, black and natural oak wood. Additionally, the house has an open area with a seating area, dining area and open kitchen, a pantry, a utility locker, and a staircase with double the height. The bedroom has a continental bed, suspended bedside tables, wardrobe with two colour finishes, and an internal private bathroom with a bath and two sinks. This project was a challenge by itself, but Anna Maria managed it as an architect, investor, manager and interior designer.
Introducing Circulation Apartment, a modern functional apartment located in the historical center of Kyiv, Ukraine. Designed by Dolgopiatova in 2022, the project was completed in the midst of a full-scale war.
The building was originally built in 1909, with a major reconstruction in 1950 after the bombing and fire in 1941. Embossed friezes with neo-classical ornamental motifs adorn the facade, while inside the apartment features solutions from the old interior in a modern interpretation. As the name suggests, the apartment also features a circle shape, which can be found on the facade of the building, the balcony railing, and the historical building opposite.
ATICOOL – Flat is an attic apartment located in Barcelona, Spain. It was designed by Insayn Design Society in 2021.
It is a cool and modern living space that combines simplicity and elegance with an electric atmosphere. It features an amazing terrace with a concrete BBQ, solar shower and exterior living area. Tucked away in Seattle’s Phinney Ridge neighborhood, surrounded by old-growth trees, is the reimagined two-story home of a young family of four. Dubbed Phinney Mini for its compact footprint and idyllic location, the 1,665 square-foot (155 m2) house was designed by Best Practice Architecture to be a functional, modern and exquisitely detailed living space that celebrates the family’s heritage.
The Best Practice team achieved this by removing the interior walls of the main level and introducing two organizing elements, an entry box and an oak box, that house necessary domestic functions in an elegant and bespoke fashion. In addition, they designed a generous family room, a detached work-from-home office and a pocket door leading to a bathroom with a traditional Japanese soaking tub. Thanks to Best Practice’s expertise, Phinney Mini is now a charming and luxurious home that will be cherished for years to come.
