Sun House offers an economical but luxurious living space that blends modern architecture with traditional tropical Vietnamese architectural elements. The undulating sloping roof shape of the house harmonizes with the traditional roofs of neighbouring houses and helps to drain rain water faster. Inside the house, natural ventilation, lighting and recycled materials help reduce energy costs while still providing a cozy atmosphere for family members who have reunited from afar.

The fusion design combines aluminum systems with warm motifs like bricks, vegetation and soft lighting fixtures to add character throughout the space. Acoustic sponges provide privacy while allowing natural light from large windows to fill the open area where individual workstations are separated by library compartments made from split oak wood panels painted in black shades along with expanded nets.

Welcome to House by Lago Maggiore, a stunning single-family house located in Gerra, Switzerland. This beautiful real estate was designed by Ruinelli Associati Architetti in 2020 and is a perfect blend of rustic and contemporary design styles. It is situated on the banks of Lago Maggiore (Lake Maggiore), a beautiful lake that is known for its breathtaking views and picturesque towns.

The project addresses the theme of the urban gap and consists of the reconstruction of a small single-family house located between two adjoining buildings. The lake front has been redesigned with small windows on the ground floor, and wider openings on the upper floors. Inside, the walls in rasapietra are left exposed, while the wooden components and windows are in chestnut and painted iron, respectively.
