Bambus is an universal material … that’s known for ages. You can do pretty much anything from it. So why not a lamp? Hangzhou, China based design studio INNOVO has designed an amazing looking lamp called Xuan. It’s made entirely from bambus … if we do not count the light bulb and elecronics .). If you like it, feel free to visit the Innovo website (link at the bottom).
While browsing the net today, looking for some cool art … I discovered Matthew Cambers from the UK. Matthew specializes in various contemporary ceramic sculptures … and as you can see above, these are quite interesting. Many of us could imagine having a piece or two as a decoration at home.
If you like soft and warm furniture, you better check Timothy John’s Woven Collection. It consists of several amazing pieces such as lightings, table, clock and a vase. I really like what this New Zealand’s designer has done. You may check more of his works directly on his website (link at the bottom). Enjoy!
