Completed in 2024, the studio made the most of the existing angular lines of the space, working with the existing walls and shafts by encasing them in an organic form so that they became “the greatest asset” of the apartment.

The home features an improvised rat-trap bond, serving both thermal insulation and noise reduction purposes. Owing to the bustling location, this Chandigarh residence is designed with carefully planned recesses that ensure privacy. The design is described as a humble, meditative sanctuary, housing a nine-member family spanning three generations.
Designed by Muka Arquitectura, Oak House is surrounded by oak trees and a sheet of water in Pedrezuela, Spain. The 2024 concrete structure is configured to preserve these natural elements, incorporating them into its layout. Oak House features a double-height glazed area for landscape views, and its interior is a spiraling journey from social to private spaces. The house offers a minimalist and timeless atmosphere, blurring the boundaries between interior and exterior.
The El Fraile Ranch House hotel in Guanajuatito, Mexico, was designed by Heryco. It expands an existing country home into a contemporary retreat in 2024, featuring two volumes linked by a service corridor. The design incorporates natural materials and a retractable glass façade to blend modernity with the surrounding rural landscape, aiming for a seamless indoor-outdoor experience.
Set amongst a verdant backdrop and overlooking the River Avon, AR Design Studio‘s Ferry House, designed in 2022, offers great potential with inspiration being taken from the natural topography of the site, the river and the long distance views. The open-concept interior design features a generous living area bathed in natural light and maintains a consistent style weaving comfort with meticulous attention to detail throughout.
