Superheroes by Glimpt Studio

Collection of Superhero seats has been designed by Swedish Glimpt Studio for Italian Cappellini. The idea of Superheroes came following a journey to Vietnam where Glimpt visited different artisans, studying their techniques and finding inspiring materials and colours. Glimpt also wanted to incorporate other influences in their work so they contacted the Swedish illustrator Malin Koort, who helped develop the patterns for the series. Glimpt likes to look at history and aesthetics of the countries they visit, keeping open mind and being inspired by the people, the country and the culture itself.

Modern Sultanas Tables by Jorge Diego Etienne

Modern Sultanas Tables by Jorge Diego Etienne

Modern Sultanas Tables is a set of occasional tables constructed with concrete and glass, which reflect the identity of the industrial city of Monterrey in the northern part of Mexico and rethink contemporary artisanal work. Using the “industrial craftsmanship” of local workshops, under a brief set by ADN Gallery, Sultanas have a monolithic structure that plays with the perception of the material and its possibilities, creating two dynamic forms that come together to create the concrete base of the tables.
