Frank Lloyd Wright-designed Massaro House sits on a private island in Mahopac, United States. Realised by Tom Heinz in 2008, the 5,000-square-foot home features a cantilever stretching 75 feet (23 meters) in two directions.
The interior boasts 27 skylights, six fireplaces, and African mahogany details, maintaining Wright’s midcentury design aesthetic throughout. With 15-foot (4.6-meter) ceiling heights, the Massaro House complements the existing Chahroudi cottage built by the architect in 1951.
This remodel of a mid century gem by Flavin Architects is located in the town of Lincoln, Massachusetts. The house was designed to incorporate the rural vibe of Lincoln with spectacular exposed wooden beams and deep overhangs.
This Mid-Century Butterfly Home located in the Little Beverly Hills Neighborhood in Palm Springs, was designed by Architects Palmer & Krisel A.I.A. and built by the Alexander Construction Co in 1959.
