Transforming a Flatiron Loft
ALine Studio took on a full renovation challenge in NYC’s Flatiron district. Their mission? Craft a bachelor’s pad sure to wow both friends and potential romantic interests. Yet, they aimed for warmth, fostering connections.
Culinary Excellence
The team introduced a chef’s kitchen designed to excite anyone who loves cooking. This kitchen isn’t just for show; it invites couples to share culinary adventures together.
Dining and Living in Style
For the dining area, they chose a steel-based glass table. This design choice keeps the space open, allowing views to flow freely. Meanwhile, the living room boasts a low Italian sofa in plush charcoal velvet, offering comfort and sophistication.
A Cozy, Alluring Bedroom
They cleverly divided the bedroom and living room with a partial wall. This wall houses a double-sided glass fireplace, adding a warm glow and a hint of mystery. The removal of all plaster unveiled stunning, aged brick, adding character throughout.
Advanced Features and Bold Accents
A top-notch Lutron system was installed, controlling lighting, sound, and shades at the touch of a button. Dramatic art and bold accessories add drama and color to the chic, monochrome design.
The renovation successfully balances masculine and feminine touches, exuding confidence and inviting warmth. This loft isn’t just a place to live; it’s a statement of style and personality.
