About Publisher’s Loft
Transforming a Book-Laden Space
Initially, the client’s space was overwhelmed by a vast book collection. However, instead of viewing this as a challenge, we saw an exciting opportunity: to seamlessly integrate the books into the loft.
Innovative Design Meets Functionality
Firstly, we used the library as the backbone for spatial organization. Surrounding the room’s perimeter, custom shelving, set at a 45-degree angle, was introduced. This angle, not only showcased the books from one side, but also, on the flip side, revealed a dynamic 3D wall. Throughout the day, as the natural light shifts, this design feature beautifully animates. Furthermore, the diagonal theme finds resonances in custom tile and woodwork, enhancing the cohesive aesthetic.
