About Hospital
Barn-Inspired Brilliance
Set amidst diverse cultivations, this project draws inspiration from the rural landscape. Interestingly, the design concept mirrors the classic barn archetype.
The barn, or “barchessa,” epitomizes the home archetype. Moreover, it evokes feelings of warmth and familiarity, especially vital for the children residing there.
Intricate Design Details
Comprising four interlocking structures, the project boasts a unified internal space. However, from the outside, you can distinctly identify each volume. Furthermore, varying heights and inclines amplify this articulation.
A unique gradient pattern has been employed. Starting at the base, the pattern’s intensity rises, culminating at the top. This design choice subtly moderates the inflow of light.
Innovative Exterior Aesthetics
While the design closely observes the local terrain, the external covering seeks innovation. Still, it respects the regional materials. The continuous skin envelops both the walls and the roof. Consequently, it conceals gutters and downspouts, presenting a crisp, recognizable silhouette.
