Innovative Solutions for Classic Challenges
Terrace designs often grapple with limited space and lighting challenges. Specifically, deep and narrow sites, surrounded by towering party walls, restrict both visibility and physical access to exterior spaces. Our solution? We strategically incorporated light-capturing designs and openings, flooding the home’s interior with natural brilliance. Moreover, we revamped the interior, elevating the living spaces to the first floor. This elevation capitalized on enhanced light access and views.
Concrete Elegance Meets Heritage
Concrete became our material of choice, not just for its malleability but also its potential to craft a textured ceiling. This ceiling, with its gentle undulations, beautifully captures both northern and southern light. Our clients embraced this choice, eager for a modern twist to accentuate the house’s original heritage core.
Green Spaces in Urban Environments
As urban greenery gains traction, we’ve infused outdoor spaces throughout the property. The project’s design gracefully tapers towards the south, preserving neighborly peace and introducing a verdant garden pocket at the base. Upstairs, a terrace presents a lush backdrop for indoor living areas. Lastly, a new rooftop deck unveils breathtaking cityscapes to the south.
