About Fierce Whiskers Distillery
Celebrating Whiskey Craftsmanship: Fierce Whiskers Distillery
Fierce Whiskers Distillery embodies the passion of Texan whiskey-making. Nestled on a pristine greenfield site, it seamlessly melds production facilities with customer interaction zones. Visitors not only savor premium whiskey but also immerse themselves in its creation process.
A Tale of Two Halves: Distinctive Facilities
The establishment comprises two distinct structures. First, the Distillery building showcases milling, cooking, fermenting, and distilling operations. Consequently, visitors gain a front-row seat to the whiskey’s inception. Meanwhile, the Rickhouse, a pioneer for Texas, brims with barrels, aging gracefully in its unique, climate-conscious architecture. Connecting these halves, a steel barrel rail efficiently moves distilled products to storage. From the tasting room, patrons can observe the entire journey, thanks to expansive overhead doors bridging indoor and outdoor realms.
Design Aesthetics: From Raw to Refined
The design mirrors the whiskey transformation: linear, modular, and a journey from raw to refined. The intention? To reflect the meticulous distillation process in every architectural detail.
Sustainability at Its Heart
Environmental stewardship remains paramount. All on-site trees remain untouched. Solar panels, spanning the Distillery’s south-facing gable roof, harness the sun, powering the entire production cycle. The structure’s large doors usher in natural ventilation, while the Rickhouse, optimized for wind patterns, features innovative louvers equipped with wind and temperature sensors. Additionally, a 14,600 SF (approximately 1356.25 square meters) catchment area champions rainwater harvesting, repurposed for landscaping.
