About Shift House
Immerse yourself in a captivating Spanish villa that masterfully melds simplicity with luxury.
Dynamic Design in Compact Spaces
This Spanish vacation retreat boasts simple rectangular volumes, artistically offset. Despite the plot’s limited space, the design thrives in dynamism. Fluted concrete walls, interspersed with continuous window slits, present a striking play of horizontal stripes, alternating between solid and glass. The grooved concrete façade’s weight contrasts beautifully with the surrounding 360º glazed bands.
Elevated Experiences
The day area seamlessly flows to an elevated terrace. Here, a spill-over pool on the top floor promises breathtaking sea vistas. Windows wrap around, ensuring panoramic views and a flood of natural light. Meanwhile, a sunken patio in the basement infuses light and ventilation across all three floors. A rooftop solarium, accessed via an external stair, offers unrivaled Mediterranean panoramas.
Artful Interiors
Roughly-polished white concrete floors blend with travertine steps. White walls meet khaki-beige micro-cement in the bathrooms and kitchen. NOMO STUDIO has meticulously designed built-in storage, showcasing artisanal rattan and light pine wood carpentry. Bright wooden touches like massive handrails and deep integrated doorsteps add warmth to the breezy interiors.
Elegant Exteriors
In contrast, darker wattle ceilings and teak carpentry grace the exteriors. This combination endows the villa with a refined elegance, highlighting the impeccable quality of its materials.
