Storagemilano updated a historic chalet nestled in the stunning Austrian Alps in Kitzbühel, Austria. Completed in 2024, Villa Privata features a harmonious blend of old and new elements, seamlessly integrating characteristic architectural details with contemporary solutions.
The project by Storagemilano preserved the essence of the original structure, maintaining characteristic architectural elements and skillfully integrating them with more contemporary solutions.
Storagemilano Utilised Oak Wood and Natural Stone for Villa Privata
Materials that speak the language of nature and modernity took centre stage in the interior design project. Oak wood, natural stone, exquisite fabrics, and metals like brass and acid-washed steel were used to create environments reflecting a sense of warm and discreet luxury.
These refined finishes, combined with a palette of warm and inviting colours, contributed to interiors that are both elegant and comfortable.

A distinctive aspect of the project was the collaboration with renowned design brands to create unique and customised furniture pieces. These exclusive items not only fit the spaces perfectly but also add creative and artisanal value.
Every piece of furniture and accessory was conceived and created following the owners’ specific requests, with particular attention to quality and uniqueness in details.
Storagemilano Gave Further Character Through Curated Artworks
The interior design reflected the owners’ personality and style in every aspect—from the choice of colours to the collection of artworks that gave further character to the interiors. Every element was selected or created with their desires in mind.
Particular attention was also paid to the terrazzo floor, designed with selected materials that integrate perfectly with the entire project. Lighting plays a fundamental role in the villa’s atmosphere.
This personalised approach extends to the outdoor spaces, carefully designed where the furniture blends with the surrounding environment, creating an oasis of tranquility and beauty. Custom-made furniture mixes with design pieces to create spaces that are a natural extension of the home.
A haven of comfort and well-being, the villa stands out for the sophisticated character of the bathrooms, where natural stone and elegant wood panelling take centre stage.

The perfect pairing with Dornbracht’s iconic Tara faucets series, characterised by archetypal shapes. The arched spout and cross handles, elevated by Brushed Gold (23.9kt Gold) and Brushed Dark Platinum finishes, emphasize the elegance of the spaces. Dornbracht also provided customised shower solutions.
