Nestled on the rugged slopes of Lake Coeur d’Alene in Harrison, Idaho, Buckrail functions as a lakeside retreat, fusing rustic charm with modern luxury. Designed by Daniel Joseph Chenin in collaboration with longtime clients, the house embodies his vision of a sanctuary deeply connected to nature, yet refined in its timeless elegance.

The interior balances robustness and sophistication

Inside, the house balances robustness and sophistication, capturing a sense of warmth and lasting beauty. Custom-designed furniture, such as a steel table top that mimics tree rings and a desk with live edges, evokes the surrounding nature, reinforcing the connection to the natural environment.
