Meltin Pot Apartment: Stylish Roman Abode Fuses Industrial with Bohemian Vibes

In the charming scenario of Roma, Italy, the Meltin Pot apartment reflects the tastes of its designer owner and lover. Architetti 07am have created an abode which has an industrial and bohemian style, achieving two goals with one design: to create a stylish space to unwind, and to honour the cinematic influences of the young couple who occupy it.

Spacious, modern living room with large windows, plush green sofa, and artistic decor.

Stylish Fusion of Industrial and Bohemian Designs

Located on the second floor of a 1930s building, the apartment was decorated by its designer owner and her partner, making it a creative homage to their passions and distinctive professions.

The living room and its high ceilings, dark tones and huge windows is the heart of the home, where natural light floods through. The coexistence of majolica tiles and oak parquet from the original floor creates a dark and vibrant contrast to the predominance of the green velvet sofa.

Personal Touches and Curiosity Shape Paced Residence

In keeping with the duo’s personalities and decorative interests, the main living room wall is decorated with a number of prints and artwork, framed in a casual manner to give a personalised touch.

The kitchen is decorated completely in black, while industrial design elements such as an island and metal shelves add to the loft-like aesthetic. The kitchen reminds of New York City kitchens, where friends are often entertained.

The bedroom is a tranquil refuge, a peeled back design with warmer wooden tones and sober, minimal furnishings. The project was guided by personal inspirations and shaped by the moments lived inside the home.

Mix Of Styles Bring Together Creatives With Passion For Design

The concept of the interior merges two spaces into one, drawing inspiration from both styles to create a unique and personalised space.

The owners met through their mutual love of cinema and design, both creatives after spending years in their respective fields. Their apartment is a perfect illustration of their union as well as a stage on which to show off their creative and film references.
