About Aranya Farmhouse

Welcome to Aranya Farmhouse

As you approach the Aranya Farmhouse, designed by Patel-Vadodaria in India, the contemporary style of the building sets it apart. Conceived as a farmhouse, the structure reflects modern sensibilities while sitting harmoniously within its rural surroundings. Completed recently, this project showcases the unique approach of PVDRS in blending traditional materials with modern design.

Step Inside: A Fresh Perspective

Upon entering, the living room welcomes guests with its spacious layout. The focus here is the kitchen wall, adorned with hexagonal cracked yellow tiles and wood inlays. This striking feature wall sets the tone for the rest of the space, which is defined by clean lines and minimal decor. The bespoke furniture, crafted from solid wood reclaimed from an old factory shed, speaks volumes about sustainability and history without needing elaborate decoration.

Continuing Through the Living Space

Moving through the living room, the space transitions seamlessly into the dining area, where the same minimalist theme continues. Here, the furniture remains consistent with the living room’s design, featuring solid wood with visible grains and figures, highlighted by a simple linseed oil polish. This area comfortably blends functionality and style, providing a perfect setting for dining and conversations.

The bedrooms uphold the farmhouse’s theme of simplicity and warmth. The use of soft, natural colors helps to create a calm atmosphere, ideal for rest and relaxation. Each room is tailored to ensure comfort while maintaining a connection to the overall design ethos of the house.

In each room, the interiors serve as a backdrop to the client’s collection of paintings, artifacts, and rugs, each piece adding a burst of personality and color against the otherwise understated decor. MS Steel features subtly as both a structural frame and in the finer details of ironmongery, providing a modern touch to the traditional textures.

From room to room, the Aranya Farmhouse by Patel-Vadodaria not only provides a living space but also celebrates the beauty of natural materials and bespoke design, creating a modern home that is both functional and visually engaging.
