About LP Brick House
Breathing New Life into Litchfield Park’s Adobe Gem
LP underwent a full renovation, adding 560 square feet (52 square meters) to a historic 1967 burnt adobe brick home in Litchfield Park, Arizona.
Reviving Light and Space
Originally a beacon of its era, a subpar addition later shadowed the home’s intrinsic luminosity, cloaking the entrance. We dismantled this annex, integrating a fresh extension along the home’s original axis. Now, every room bathes in natural light.
Saving Sagging Beams with Modern Solutions
The weight of the tile roof burdened the house’s beams. We substituted it with lighter, rusted corrugated metal. This not only preserved the roof’s integrity but also added a contemporary touch.
From Cramped Corners to Open Oasis
Inside, we transformed tiny, dim rooms into expansive living areas. New patio doors drench the grand room with sunlight. Updated finishes throughout complement the home’s authentic adobe bricks and ceiling beams.
Poolside Perfection
To the rear, we revamped the original pool to echo the home’s modernized aesthetic.
