About Villa Belvedere

An Italian Gem: The Costermano Residence

Nestled in Costermano, this private home overlooks the eastern shore of Lake Garda, Italy’s largest lake.

Strategic Placement with Stunning Views

The home sits above a quaint olive grove, offering breathtaking views of the rolling hills leading to the lake. The building’s two levels showcase contrasting facades. To the north, the facade remains mostly closed, ensuring resident privacy. Conversely, the south-facing facade features floor-to-ceiling glazing, maximizing lake views from every corner.

A Nod to Early 20th Century Rationalism

Meticulous design and careful material selection yield a minimalist, contemporary architecture. This design draws inspiration from early 20th-century rationalism, without sidelining the surrounding structures. The ground floor boasts local natural stone cladding, serving as a foundation for the cantilevered upper level. This top floor, crafted from exposed concrete with white cement and Carrara marble aggregates, showcases on-site millimetric precision shuttering.

Designed for the Sun and Shade

To the south, terraces, bedrooms, and lounges benefit from expansive canopies. These canopies, both striking and functional, provide shade. Digital studies simulated sun positioning, ensuring optimal light and shade balance, especially during scorching summers.

Noteworthy Villa Features

The villa’s palm garden houses a vast infinity pool. Additionally, an underground garage, accessible via a car lift, adds to the property’s unique structural offerings.
