Villa 118 by Denrakaev Unique Ambiance
Nestled within a serene pine forest of Kyiv, Ukraine, lies the architectural masterpiece known as Villa 118. Impeccably designed by Denrakaev Unique Ambiance in 2018, this modern luxury house offers a tranquil retreat with direct access to the river, marking it as a unique gem in the region.
The villa is thoughtfully divided into a spacious living area that doubles as the heart of the home, with two private wings that flank it. The clever use of design elements inspired by its natural surroundings – spruce branches, water circles, and riverbank stones – harmoniously blends the indoors with the outdoors, adding an intimate touch to each room.
About Villa 118
Immaculate Design of the Villa
The villa’s design is lucid and coherent. Its heart is the common space – the living room. This generous area combines a cozy sofa space, a sophisticated dining area, and a state-of-the-art open kitchen. Two residential wings, accessible through independent corridors, extend to the right and left of this central living room.
Luxurious Residential Wings
The left wing houses the Master Bedroom, complete with a private bathroom and a spacious walk-in closet. The right wing offers a flexible space – a study that can seamlessly transform into a guest bedroom when needed, equipped with its own bathroom and toilet.
Practical Utility Areas
Departing from the common living room space, a separate exit leads through the vestibule to the home’s utility block. This practical zone features a boiler room, an extra bathroom, and a two-car garage.
Embracing the Surrounding Nature
Tucked away in a pine forest, the villa enjoys direct access to a nearby river. This idyllic location provides the key inspiration for the villa’s interior design, manifesting in three principal motifs:
1. The Spruce Influence
Spruce lines mirror the shape of spruce branches. You’ll see these in the ceiling cushion casing, the slate veneer patterns on the walls, the wood design of furniture fronts and wall panels, and the decorative grill of the fireplace.
2. The Effect of Water Circles
Circles on the water have been translated into the villa’s interior through large-scale rings. These are visible in the light fixtures, the suspended rings over the dining table, in the shapes of mirrors and coffee tables, and in the bathroom’s bathtub design.
3. The Essence of Riverbank Stones
Lastly, the texture of stones found on the riverbank echoes through the decor of each room in the villa, creating a soothing, shadowy ambiance throughout the private spaces.
