A Fresh Look for São Paulo Home
The VJC São Paulo House, a spacious 800 square meters (8,611 square feet), has been beautifully renovated. Architect Marina Salles led the project, updating the house’s social areas. They kept the original design by Studio MK27 but added modern comforts for the family.
Simple and Elegant Design
The house’s white walls and wooden floors give it a calm, minimalist look. This simple style makes the new furniture and art really stand out. The space, once bare, is now great for hosting friends and family.
Salles redesigned the home into three areas: dining room, living room, and a lounge with a fireplace. This layout brings the family together in the heart of the home.
Combining Brazilian and Italian Styles
The decor mixes Brazilian and Italian designs. The dining room welcomes you with a famous table and chairs, and unique art.
In the living room, comfy sofas, chairs, and a coffee table create a cozy space. The lounge has relaxing chairs and tables, perfect for unwinding by the fireplace.
The home’s decorations, in green, ochre, and brown, match the garden’s colors.
The 11-meter-long (36 feet) sideboard, a piece by Márcio Kogan, now has new doors and lighting. This lighting showcases the art, setting a pleasant mood.
The veranda extends the living area outside, with a sculpture and garden-themed furniture.
