Sabater House emerges as a response to its surroundings. Its unique, clear geometric design breaks away from traditional compact architecture. This approach, coupled with the slim construction, extends the property’s connection to the outdoors, crafting seemingly limitless courtyards.
A Harmonious Blend of Garden and Structure
Furthermore, the design skillfully weaves around existing trees while incorporating newly planted ones, enhancing the garden experience. The house harmonizes with the landscape, echoing the terraced layout of historic chapels. It also features an adaptable design, ready for future expansions as needed.
Innovative Design Across Three Levels
Sabater House spans three floors, each with a distinct purpose. The top floor, dedicated to nighttime rest, offers stunning sea views above the trees. Additionally, a rooftop access point transforms the ground floor’s roof into a scenic belvedere. The structure cleverly links the garage, at the plot’s edge, with the central communication hub, creating a shaded entrance. While maintaining street-side privacy, this level bathes service areas in natural zenithal light. The ground floor, with its southwesterly orientation, embraces sea views and accommodates a fully functional residence. Below ground, the lower floor houses auxiliary spaces, including a pool, facilities, and a versatile area.
