Designed in 2023 by Studio Blue Architects, its structure comprises interlocking simple volumes that serve as a backdrop for a stunning local art collection. Fusing minimalist and bohemian styles, the residence allows for seamless indoor-outdoor living, with panoramic views and a covered terrace overlooking the infinity pool.
A breathtaking cliffside retreat
Perched on a cliff overlooking Freights Bay, “My Love” is an extraordinary waterfront retreat created by Studio Blue Architects. Completed in 2023, this residence encapsulates the essence of Caribbean beauty. Its minimalist, bohemian aesthetic is effortlessly intertwined, resulting in an inviting and relaxed environment. The estate’s design allows its magnificent architecture to blend harmoniously with the mesmerizing ocean view.
The exterior facade displays a series of interconnected white structures. These basic figures create a soothing backdrop, illustrating an impressive compilation of local art while enhancing the view of the southern coastline. The verdant landscape and welcoming terraces elevate this tropical sanctuary.
Smooth indoor-outdoor experience
Upon entering, indoor spaces transform seamlessly into outdoor spaces. The living area, dining room and kitchen are flooded with natural light. Large glass doors open and connect these areas to a covered terrace overlooking a striking infinity pool. Here one can relax with sophistication and enjoy the gentle zephyr of the ocean.
The living room boasts comfortable oversized sofas upholstered in white fabric. Earth-toned wooden elements, including coffee tables, infuse warmth into the cozy environment. High ceilings and large windows enhance the feeling of spaciousness and connection to the outdoors.
The kitchen, adjacent to the living room, is a culinary paradise. It sports sleek, contemporary appliances and a large island crowned by a textured countertop. Geometric artistic lighting fixtures dangle above the island, creating an intimate atmosphere suitable for dining. A breakfast bar completes the area, inviting informal gatherings.
Transparent private spaces
Moving on to the bedrooms, each space offers a relaxing view of the sea. Large windows frame the landscape, allowing natural light to fill the rooms. The master suite features a private spa-like bathroom with a freestanding bathtub and fine fittings. The opulent design encourages relaxation in a tranquil setting.
The outdoor sections are equally charming and feature a perfect pool area with cascading water scenes. Loungers are scattered throughout, ideal for sunbathing or enjoying the hues of twilight.
