Apartment Eterna Sets a Calm Tone

Apartment Eterna sits in Ljubljana, Slovenia, conceived by Vivijana Zorman as an apartment tailored to light and ease. Soft neutrals, warm oak, and rounded forms guide the layout, from the living room to the kitchen and bedroom. The result is a measured domestic setting where texture and curve soften daily routines without noise.

Morning light pours through French doors onto herringbone oak, catching the curve of a plush, cloud-like sofa. Surfaces stay quiet so the grain, the shadows, and the rounded edges do the talking.

This is an apartment in Ljubljana by Vivijana Zorman, planned around a calm palette and soft geometry. The focus sits squarely on the interior palette and furnishing—how wood, fabric, and subtle detailing steer daily use.

Curve And Calm

The living area sets the attitude with a low, rounded sofa facing a pale wall lined in vertical relief. Corners are eased, panels meet with soft radii, and a flush-mounted screen rests without visual clutter. A pair of small tables—one circular, one slightly taller—gathers books and a single stem, giving the room a steady rhythm.

Kitchen, Warm Oak

Across the open room, the kitchen wraps in oak cabinetry and a long, rounded island clad in the same timber. A white worktop keeps reflections bright, while a black tap punctuates the pale field with an anchor note. Integrated appliances stack neatly at one end, and a slim oak ledge runs the wall length for everyday glassware.

Dining In Good Light

By the balcony doors, a round table with a fluted cylindrical base gathers four upholstered chairs on swivel legs. Overhead, a trio of gossamer glass discs hangs at staggered heights, catching daylight and evening glow alike. Curtains fall in soft folds, tempering glare and letting the parquet carry warmth to the edge.

Built-Ins And Passage

Toward the hall, mirrored panels and oak shelving stitch storage into the wall line. The joinery reads slim and intentional, holding books, a trailing plant, and small objects without fuss. A botanical wall mural lightens the corridor and gives the transition a gentle pulse.

Bedroom, Lean Lines

In the bedroom, a broad oak headboard runs wall to wall beneath pale vertical panels. Two pendant lamps drop simple rings and globes to bedside height, freeing the tops of compact round tables. A narrow, full-height niche in oak adds reach-for-it shelving within the wardrobe plane.

By late afternoon, the parquet deepens and the neutrals warm, the room tones shifting with the sun. The palette holds steady—oak, cream, a trace of black—so the day writes the rest.
