A simple and direct response to site and program, this form is generated by a need for sunlight to the interior and a usable external space to the rear of an existing house.
The design is responsive contextually in its scale and choice of materials, and transforms of a simple cottage into a place of surprise, enjoyment and delight. The functional needs of the house and those are met with an unexpected architectural experience that raises the everyday above the norm.
