The Mammertsberg hotel and restaurant in Freidorf, Switzerland, was designed by Space Copenhagen in 2022. The hotel is located in a classic Swiss Villa built in 1911 with direct views of Lake Constance and stretching further out to the magnificent Vorarlberg and the Appenzell Alps. The studio has worked with the existing classical proportions of the space, with its high ceilings, generous openings and panelled walls, to create a warm and embracing restaurant. The Ren Dining Chair designed by Space Copenhagen for Stellar Works, is used throughout the restaurant.
Villa Saudade, a modernist residence in Attard, Malta, is a unique example of how a family of 3 can live in comfort and style within a limited site. Designed by Chris Briffa Architects in 2020, this villa was built around a 100-year-old cypress tree and includes a series of sinuous volumes, a concrete-timber base, and apertures placed on all six sides of the building. By inverting the traditional layout with the sleeping areas located on the lower levels and living areas on the upper levels, the architects provided the family with a cozy and environmentally-friendly home.

Welcome to the JSL House, a single-family residence designed by Bernardes Arquitetura and located in a residential condominium in Paraty, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
A few meters away from the beach, the residence was designed with the idea of connection in mind – visual, privileging the view to the sea; and living and leisure spaces. Steel beams, wooden slats and colorless glass railings make up the exterior and interior of the property, giving it a contemporary feel, while sailor rope, navy blue, ocher and nautical striped pattern fabrics bring the beach atmosphere inside. The frames of the living and dining rooms can be completely opened, allowing a stunning view of the horizon.

The building functions as both a architectural practise and domicile, with the lower levels embracing the existing structure and features, and the penthouse being a contemporary counterpart. The penthouse sits on two pre-cast concrete beams, and provides expansive, liberating views of both harbours beyond.
