The coral red brick and the slender UNP steel fascia with a matt powder coating give the home a sleek and modern look. Floor-to-ceiling glass windows and canopies allow plenty of natural daylight and help keep the house cool during the summer.

The light tones of Bulgarian limestone, off-form concrete walls, and brushed oak paneling for the interiors, together with the internal open courtyard and the Caesalpinia tree, create a soothing and calming atmosphere for the occupants.

Designed by Taguá Arquitetura e Design in 2021, it has 350 m² (3800 ft²) of built area and has industrial design style with exposed concrete, steel and wood elements.

The concept of the house was to create an architecture with a brutalist and industrial style, but with ecologically correct materials to make it sustainable and reduce the impact on the environment. With an integration of interior and exterior, this house is perfect for those who want to enjoy the natural beauty of Sao Paulo and at the same time, appreciate modern, contemporary architecture.

This historicizing style villa was originally built over a century ago and was in need of an upgrade to keep up with the times. The renovation included a complete technical modernisation, a change of layout, and the incorporation of the clients’ individual life experiences and inspirations. The interior now features a direct connection between the kitchen and the garden, two additional rooms and a bathroom, as well as air-water heat pump for hot water and heating, as well as underfloor heating for thermal stability and comfort.
