In the heart of the 12th arrondissement of Paris, France, designer Micaela Granja has reimagined a 58 m² apartment duplex in 2023. Inspired by South American architecture, the uniquely shaped space feels fluid and soft through an appealing contrast of polished concrete and warm wood, successfully evoking a vacation-like ambiance amid thoughtful details.
Located in Paris, France, Apartment S is a sleek 93-square-metre (1,001-square-foot) flat with a minimalist design that reflects natural light across the space. Completed in 2018 by French studio Heros Architecture, the apartment features three main furniture pieces that create and organise the layout, which further highlights the space’s clean aesthetic.
Promenade Apartment, a 1930s residence in Milan designed by Icona Architetti Associati, features a subtle yet distinct arrangement of living spaces. Completed in 2021, the refurbished home is organised into two ecosystems: one for private functions and another for socialising. The two zones are connected by a central corridor that swings subtly between sombre and warm tones.
