Designed in 2023, the house leverages light, voids, and sculptural geometry as foundational elements, shaping spatial experience and the house’s relationship to its environment while responding effectively to climate.

The volumetric composition features contrasting white exterior and dark steel perimeter fence, with hierarchy of openings tailored to functions, reflecting connection to urban fabric and balancing transparency with seclusion.

Unoccupied for many years, a site at the foot of a hill in Prague’s Troja district now holds Villa Troja, a house designed by Stempel & Tesar architekti that aims to balance busy life on the outside with peace and privacy within. Concrete was a firm requirement for the project, both for the exterior and interior, allowing the functional spatial composition to highlight its unique properties in terms of mass, texture, and color.

Outdoor spaces encourage relaxation, while the spacious interior, defined by an earthy palette, includes a kitchen with elegant wooden cabinetry, a cozy dining area, serene bedrooms, and a minimalist bathroom that all connect seamlessly to nature.

Art House is built within the green oasis of Filothei, a neighborhood nestled within the bustling metropolis of Athens. Designed by Kallos Turin, the house incorporates the cubic volume – accentuated with poured concrete – to house the client’s world-class art collection in a gallery format, as well as the space for their extended families to converge. A native landscape was created as an extension of the preserved hillside from which the cube emerges.
