Mar de Flores stands on a rising coastal slope in La Libertad Department, El Salvador, conceived by Elástica Studio as a compact multi unit housing enclave. Four slender homes climb toward the sea, stacking terraces, bedrooms, and rooftop decks to work with the sun, the breeze, and the view. Inside and out, the architecture leans on simple materials and clear volumes to keep attention on ocean light and everyday coastal life.
The Patio House, designed by the talented team at Elástica Studio in San Salvador, El Salvador, is a captivating blend of cozy privacy and transparent elegance. Completed in 2022, this house showcases a solid, opaque exterior that gradually reveals a completely transparent interior, creating a unique and intimate atmosphere. Brick, the primary material, takes center stage both inside and out, evoking a warm and personalized ambiance that harmonizes with the use of natural stone and vibrant colors throughout the living spaces.
Designed by Elástica Studio in 2018, Coral House in El Salvador seamlessly blends modern architecture with the natural beauty of its coastal setting. Inspired by the homeowners’ love for the sea, this spacious and open house features striking coral stone floors and roofs, complemented by traditional Salvadoran building techniques. The design prioritizes integration with the lush surrounding gardens, creating a harmonious indoor-outdoor living experience.
