Emanuele Durola Studio renovated the GSL07 Apartment in Milan, Italy, combining historical elements with contemporary design. Originally inhabited by architect Béla Angelus, the 1950s apartment features preserved terrazzo floors, a marble fireplace, and wood paneling.
In 2024, Brescia-based ZDA | Zupelli Design Architettura transformed the interior of an apartment in Brescia, Italy. Named Casa Miga, the redesign harmoniously combines historical and contemporary elements.
ZDA enhanced the apartment’s original features with custom-made wardrobes, partition walls, and modern furnishings. The design includes a herringbone parquet flooring and architectural concrete in the bathrooms. Soft, elegant colors create a relaxing atmosphere, showcasing Casa Miga‘s unique blend of past and present.
