The “House in the Woods” is a newly built villa located in Goirle, Netherlands, designed by NVA interior design in 2018. With the location and client’s creativity as the starting point, NVA crafted a layout that creates intimate spaces on the spacious site, seamlessly uniting interior and architecture.
R79 has designed Casita Pegados, a home in Mérida, Mexico, with a focus on blurring the line between interior and exterior spaces. Completed in 2024, the 1,000-square-metre house features a simple distribution plan, with service areas on the west, social areas facing the south garden, and private areas facing north and south. House in Mundão, designed by Paulo Pereira Teixeira in 2023, is a contemporary residence in Viseu, Portugal. Characterised by a reinforced concrete structure and east-facing garden, the house connects to its landscape seamlessly. The DX House in Hanoi by X11 Design Studio features a jewel-inspired facade reflecting daily light changes. Perched on a steeply sloping site at the edge of a fjord in Saguenay, Canada, Sur Le Ruisseau house was designed by local studio Matière Première Architecture in 2019 as a retreat from everyday life. The minimalist interiors are warmed with natural materials including a full-length red oak bookshelf, which extends throughout the home and doubles as a light fixture.
