Casa al Pradet by Clara Crous Studio

Casa al Pradet stands on the last triangular plot of a quiet street in Vilamacolum, Spain, where agricultural fields press close to the village edge. Designed by Clara Crous Studio as a self-built house for architect Clara and her partner Carles, the project grows from local farming knowledge, contemporary timber fabrication, and a deep familiarity with the rhythms of the land that surrounds it.

The Catcher by TEAM_BLDG

The Catcher by TEAM_BLDG

The Catcher stands on the outskirts of Shanghai, China, where rice fields press close to the walls of a once-ordinary rural compound. TEAM_BLDG transforms this house into the Chunli Guesthouse, turning two self-built homes into an 11-room retreat framed by courtyards, terraces, and sunken seating. Guests move between interior and landscape in measured steps, watching the fields slide past as the architecture folds around them.

Los Llanos House by Pepa Díaz Arquitecta

Los Llanos House by Pepa Díaz Arquitecta

Los Llanos House stands on rural ground in Paraje los Llanos, TM Lorca, Murcia, Spain, where a near-ruin becomes a lived-in memory. Designed by Pepa Díaz Arquitecta as a house rooted in family history, the project turns a former childhood home into a contemporary dwelling. The restored structure balances emotional continuity with a new way of living that favors shared rooms over compartmentalized domesticity.
