The Cornwall Retreat sits above Porthcothan Bay, a clifftop house by De Rosee Sa in London, United Kingdom, shaped around a young family of surfers. Within its modest pitched form, the project unfolds as a layered coastal interior, where timber, stone and soft textiles translate the surrounding landscape into daily life. Interiors stay calm and grounded, but every room keeps a quiet dialogue with the sea beyond.
CASINHA DA MELROEIRA stands on a tight plot in Ourém, Portugal, where Filipe Saraiva – Arquitectos rebuilds a familiar ruin as a compact village house. The project follows a pentagonal volume that mirrors its neighboring Casa da Melroeira while carving out intimate outdoor rooms and framed views. Inside, salvaged pieces, handcrafted objects, and technical experiments turn a modest footprint into a layered home grounded in memory and everyday use.
Designed by the acclaimed Atelier Design N Domain, Casa B is a stunning house located in Alibag, India. This 14,000 sq. ft. residence, completed in 2018, seamlessly blends modern architecture with the serene tropical landscape. Featuring a harmonious color palette and an abundance of natural light, Casa B embodies the essence of a tranquil getaway, providing its occupants with a rejuvenating oasis away from the bustling city life.
