About AFM Apartment

Transforming Spaces with Light and Color

Two years after unveiling the NPL Penthouse, we embarked on a new project: crafting a vibrant living space for our client’s mother. Nestled in modern concrete structures, both apartments boast a similar layout and breathtaking skyline views.

A Vision of Vibrancy and Versatility

Our client envisioned a colorful sanctuary complete with a garden, yoga space, and accommodation for guests on dual sofa beds. Tailored for a single occupant, we opted against traditional rooms. Instead, we introduced flexible areas defined by human-scale partitions, not extending to the ceiling. This innovative approach maximized openness and connection to the surrounding windows.

Embracing Natural Light and Lush Greenery

We strategically oriented the apartment to bathe in natural sunlight, with a verdant garden gracing the central window. Situated on the 28th floor, this green oasis introduces a slice of nature—complete with Rhipsalis—against the urban backdrop.

The kitchen and living area, separated by a cherry wood partition, enjoy garden views and abundant daylight. We harmonized custom pieces with renowned brands like Bulthaup and Moroso, achieving a perfect blend of uniqueness and elegance. Cherry wood’s synergy with pink and green hues enriches the living space’s color palette.

Inspiration from the Past, Vision for the Future

Drawing inspiration from 1930s architecture, we aimed to transform the apartment into a delicate sculpture. This concept allows the occupant to reside in a piece of art rather than a conventional flat, embodying tranquility and aesthetic harmony.
