CCC Interior by Alessandro Mazzucchi
CCC Interior is a modern apartment located in Bormio, Italy, designed in 2019 by Alessandro Mazzucchi.
Description
We are in the upper Valtellina, in Bormio, near the Bagni Nuovi, just off the road that leads to the Stelvio Pass. When you enter the apartment, what leaves you in no doubt is the large panoramic window that provides a romantic backdrop to the mountains and forests.
Without being deliberately too rustic, the renovation of this apartment has focused on the sober use of essential materials: wood, in detail, brushed oak for the floor; wool for the fabrics, with which they have created curtains, pillows, armchairs, and the creasing of the sofa; iron, used in particular for the table and chairs designed specifically for this apartment.
The project included a slight redistribution and a complete restyling of the interior rooms. The entrance has been redesigned to give space to a scenic full-height bookcase, while the complex distribution of storerooms and walk-in closets has been simplified and optimized by making closets flush with the wall. An opening has also been created to connect the living room and the kitchen and to access the latter both from the corridor and from the living room. Ancient furnishing elements complete the project.
