Redesigned by the Miriam Barrio Studio, the apartment features a functional kitchen with maroon doors and dark wood details that flow into the dining room. The same dark wood framing language is present in the hallway and room divider, and emphasizes the presence of strong colors in the night area. The dressing room contrasts with the white of the bed area and the salmon-colored bathroom creates an inviting atmosphere.

About Aragó III

Bringing Mid-Century Air to the Heart of Barcelona

This apartment, located in the center of Barcelona, was partially redesigned while respecting the previous distribution. The living-dining room and kitchen now share the same space, with the kitchen given total prominence.

Functional Design with Mirror Wall

The kitchen was designed from a functional point of view, with maroon doors and dark wood details that create shelves for storage and decoration. It transitions from being a simple kitchen to becoming a large piece of furniture with rounded shapes that flows through a wall of mirrors to the dining room.

Dark Wood Detailing Throughout

The same dark wood framing language has been used throughout the hallway and room divider. Wood slats allow for concealing doors and closets, and have been used in the same way in the dressing room and bathroom of the master bedroom.

Strong Colors in the Night Area

In the night area, the presence of strong colors is still present. Midnight blue in the dressing room contrasts with the white of the next bed area, while a salmon color in the bathroom works as a good complement to the blue. The dark wood details cross from one space to the other.
