About Hytta

The Essence of Creation

Nature inspires us as creators, driving us to materialize our dreams and ideas. Yet, in today’s world, distractions such as continuous notifications and digital noise often hinder our creativity. To counter this, Dominik Ilichman and Adam Hofman have crafted Hytta – a modern cabin designed for uninterrupted creation and reflection.

Embracing Minimalism

Aligned with nature, Hytta’s design provides a reflective and inspiring space. This perfect blend of privacy, natural beauty, and a functional workspace allows you to escape the daily chaos and rediscover what truly matters. Furthermore, its Scandinavian minimalism, devoid of distractions, ensures comfort and focus. Additionally, expansive terraces and windows merge the interior with nature, fueling your creativity.

Spatial Harmony

Perched on a south-facing slope, Hytta enjoys seclusion at a forest’s edge, offering privacy. Its layout, inspired by an old hunting cabin, features essential spaces like a living area, kitchen, foyer, bathroom, and utility room on the ground floor. Moreover, an additional outdoor bathroom adds to the convenience.

The living space, with its high gable roof, creates an expansive area for creativity. Inside, the bathroom’s striking design and the kitchen’s delicately suspended staircase lead to the main bedroom. Here, east-facing windows welcome the morning sun, offering views of nature from your bed. Additionally, two cozy nooks, one above the living area and another in the bedroom, provide extra sleeping spaces for up to six guests.

In the living area, a large oak table serves dual purposes as a dining and workspace. Equipped with Starlink internet and biodynamic lighting, it fosters productivity and healthy sleep. Also, Hytta’s warmth comes from a wood-burning stove and underfloor heating, ensuring year-round comfort.

Just a short walk from Hytta, a modern Finnish sauna offers relaxation with uninterrupted nature views. Measuring 6 x 3.5 meters (19.7 x 11.5 feet), the sauna includes a relaxation area and a shower. Its charred-timber cladding and minimalist design blend effortlessly with the surroundings. Anchored with earth screws and accessible via a steel ramp, it epitomizes lightness and serenity.
