H Project Blends Modern Living with Spectacular Pyrenees Backdrop

Set among the lush terrain of France, the H Project, envisioned by Margot Aurensan Architecte, enchants with its clean lines and grace. The building’s facade, made from charred timber, skillfully integrates with the densely forested backdrop. This deliberate selection does more than elevate the visual charm; it also guarantees that the residence harmonizes with its organic environment.

Investigating the exterior of Project H

The architectural configuration respects the natural contours of the site. Set against a slope, the garden level ties in perfectly with its surroundings. The ground floor is set back, creating the impression of a single-storey dwelling when viewed from the street. A vast terrace extends from the interior, providing outdoor experiences and promoting an effortless blend of indoor and outdoor atmospheres.

Crossing the deck, we are greeted by inspiring panoramas of the Pyrenees. This visual relationship was central to the overall design, promoting a lifestyle in which the interior areas merge smoothly with the exterior landscapes.

A chic interior beckons

Strolling around the interior, the lounge area reveals a contemporary vibe. Floor-to-ceiling windows bathe the space in sunlight, creating a warm and hospitable atmosphere. The soft color scheme amplifies the feeling of tranquility, while the polished decor adds a touch of elegance.

The open-plan design promotes effortless circulation between the various areas. A strategically placed sofa provides relaxation, while modern art elements accentuate the decor. The smooth transition from the living room to the outdoor deck creates a welcoming and inclusive environment.

Moving on, the kitchen emerges as a model of practical aesthetics. Featuring a clear and discreet style, the area is enhanced by the ambient light that enters through large windows. From the glass finishes to the wooden cabinets, the meticulous attention to detail is evident. A prominent island serves as the primary meeting place, perfect for informal meals or hosting guests.

The dining area, next to the kitchen, features stylish furniture and maintains the elegant visual theme. This is where plants are tastefully positioned on the windowsill, conveying the essence of nature indoors.

Uninterrupted connection with the outside
