Design Che Accoglie: Elegance Meets Wellbeing in Private Residence
In 2025, Alexandra Khnykina designed the interiors of a private residence in Trento, Italy, focusing on the living area with kitchen and the sleeping area on the second floor. The project transformed the home’s spaces, blending aesthetics with functionality. Enhancing the warmth of the concrete ceiling texture and integrating meticulous lighting designs elevated the interiors to a refined and timeless level, creating a unique atmosphere throughout the home.

Collaborative Design Process
From the earliest stages, dialogue with the clients was central: we worked together to define tailor-made spaces, capable of reflecting their habits, tastes and the way they live their homes.

Character and Authenticity of Interiors
During development, the project naturally evolved: we chose to preserve the original ceiling texture, enhancing the materiality of concrete and avoiding the addition of wood. A choice that gave character and authenticity to the rooms.

Highlighting Interior Features
The fireplace, initially planned, was eliminated for technical reasons. This constraint turned into an opportunity: we were able to highlight other elements of the living area, bringing attention to materials, volumes and light.

A Discreet, Functional And Surprising Kitchen
The beating heart of the house is the kitchen, designed for those who love to cook and experience space dynamically. We thought of it as an elegant concealed volume, capable of blending aesthetics and practicality. A refined piece of furniture that surprises with unexpected and functional solutions.

A Key Design Element: Lighting
Light, the subject of the project, was a key design element studied in detail from the construction phase to preserve the integrity of the reinforced concrete slab. LED strips embedded in the plasterboard along the staircase enhance the textures of the walls and help create a warm, refined and enveloping atmosphere.

A Timeless Bedroom Elegance
Timeless elegance for the sleeping area. For the master bedroom, we were looking for an original and lasting solution. We chose an unusual material combination: the @ceramicasantagostino tiles, with their refined fabric effect, meet the naturalness of the wood strips. A play of textures that gives life to an intimate, elegant and timeless environment. The integrated LED profile adds a soft, scenic light, perfect for creating a relaxing atmosphere.
